Britannia Hotel has been a Trondheim landmark since it was established, in 1870. Originally built to attract British Aristocrats who came Salmon fishing in the area, Britannia has a rich history serving royalty, dignitaries and explorers. Today, it is a 5-star hotel and member of The Leading Hotels of The World. Visitors may enjoy four unique restaurants including Speilsalen, a MICHELIN star restaurant. The centerpiece of the hotel is the beautifully restored Palmehaven dining room, serving Afternoon Tea and lunch.
